Wagner Native Ethanol, LLC was officially organized in South Dakota in March of 2007, with the intention of planning, constructing and operating a 50 million gallon per year ethanol production facility near Wagner, South Dakota that benefits investors, farmers and the local community.
The plant will also produce approximately 160,000 tons of DDGS. Our energy source will be from corn stover and wheat straw. Wagner Native Ethanol, LLC will be the first ethanol plant to utilize biomass as the primary energy source.
The project also will include purchase and rehabilitation of 47+ miles of rail line from Wagner to NAPA JCT north of Yankton. This renewed rail service to several local elevators will expand their marketing options. |
